Die Kenntnis der Maps spielt auch im neuen Black Ops eine wichtige Rolle. Deshalb stellen wir euch hier alle Maps genauer vor und geben euch hilfreiche Tipps zu jeder Karte.
Wie viele Maps gibt es in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War?
Zum Launch gab es zehn Karten, von denen zwei nur im Feuerteam-Modus verfügbar sind. Drei Karten sind in den Vereinte Waffen- und Standard-Modi verfügbar, die restlichen fünf nur in den Standard-Modi.

Außerdem ist inzwischen auch der Klassiker Nuketown nachgereicht worden. Wie schon bei Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, will Activision auch beim neuen Black Ops stetig kostenlose Updates mit neuen Waffen und Maps rausbringen.
Alle Maps in den Standard-Versus-Modi
Auf diesen Maps könnt ihr in die Standard-Versus Modi wie Team Deathmatch, Abschuss Bestätigt oder Eroberung spielen. Momentan sind es sechs Maps, jedoch sind wir sicher, dass mit der Zeit kostenlos neue Karten hinzugefügt werden.
Miami
Es geht ab nach Florida! Miami ist eine mittelgroße Map mit betretbaren Gebäuden wie einer Bar, einem Restaurant und dem Blackwood Hotel. Außerdem finden auch Kämpfe in den Außenbereichen – also auf den Straßen, beim Hotel-Pool und am Strand – statt.
Der Strand nimmt einen größeren Teil der Miami-Map ein.
Auf den Straßen in der Karten-Mitte findet der Großteil der Kämpfe statt – besonders in Modi mit Objectives (zum Beispiel Eroberung). Rechnet hier mit besonders vielen Schießereien, zumal euch auch Scharfschützen aus den Gebäuden heraus ins Visier nehmen werden. Haltet euch generell vom Strand fern, da ihr mangels guter Deckungsmöglichkeiten und weitreichender Sichtlinien, ein leichtes Ziel abgebt.
Ihr könnt übrigens im Pool ins Wasser tauchen. Lauert unvorsichtigen Gegnern vom Wasser aus auf. Außerdem lassen sich einige Waffen auch im Wasser und aus dem Wasser abfeuern.
Moskau
In der sowjetischen Hauptstadt geht es richtig ab! Hier erwarten euch schnelle Schusswechsel auf engem Raum. Es gibt kaum eine Map, die so verwinkelt ist und aus so vielen betretbaren Gebäuden besteht. Unter anderem finden Kämpfe in einem Museum, einer U-Bahn-Station, einer Polizeistation, einem Appartment-Komplex und dem Kultur-Zentrum statt.
Moskau folgt dem klassischen Drei-Linien Aufbau alter COD-Teile.
In der Metro (U-Bahn-Station) wird es gerade in Objective-Modi richtig eskalieren. In der Mitte der Station steht eine riesige Statue, die ihr als Deckungsmöglichkeit im Gefecht nutzen könnt. Ansonsten müsst ihr auf die Fenster des Appartments und die Aus- und Eingänge der Gebäude achten – oft campen dort Feinde, um unachtsame Spieler in den Außenarealen zu erledigen.
Checkmate
Ein alter DDR-Flugzeughangar, der für das Training der HVA zweckentfremdet wurde. Diese Map ist vergleichsweise klein und erinnert vom Aufbau her an die Map Shoot House aus Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Jetzt bei MediaMarkt kaufen!). Das Flugzeug in der Mitte ist dabei der Dreh- und Angelpunkt der Karte. Bleibt außerdem immer in Deckung – in den offenen Bereichen rumzurennen, würde (virtuellen) Selbstmord bedeuten.
Checkmate bietet viele Deckungsmöglichkeiten an den äußeren Rändern.
Des Weiteren solltet ihr auf Checkmate eher auf Boden-basierte Punkteserien (zum Beispiel die Fernlenkladung) setzen. Schließlich findet das Match in einer Halle statt. Zwar gibt es an bestimmten Stellen Öffnungen, damit Luft-basierte Punkteserien nicht komplett nutzlos werden, jedoch müsst ihr mit den Punkteserien sehr gut zielen können und außerdem Glück haben, dass sich in dem Moment Spieler unterhalb der Öffnung aufhalten.
Garrison
Es geht von der DDR in einen Hafen in der BRD. Garrison folgt ebenfalls dem Drei-Linien-Prinzip, ist jedoch deutlich breiter als zum Beispiel Moscow. Außerdem besteht diese Map aus vielen Außenbereichen, die euch nur unzureichenden Schutz vor Luft-basierten Punkteserien bieten. Haltet euch, wenn möglich innerhalb von Gebäuden auf, um Punkteserien und Campern nicht zum Opfer zu fallen.
Satellite
Satellite besteht zum größten Teil nur aus Sand und Felsformationen. Grob lässt sie sich also in zwei Hälften aufteilen: Die Wüste und einer Art kleinem Canyon mit drei kleineren Höhlen. Im Wüstenabschnitt seid ihr natürlich Scharfschützen und allen Luft-basierten Punkteserien ausgesetzt. Wenn ihr selber Scharfschütze seid, dann bietet die Wüste eine gute Möglichkeit dafür – aber vergesst nicht, dass ihr genauso leicht zu sichten seid wie eure Gegner.
Der Canyon bietet viele Deckungsmöglichkeiten hinter Felsen und dem zerstörten Satelliten. Allerdings ist er recht eng, weshalb ihr euch auf viele Nahkämpfe einstellen müsst. Nehmt am besten eine Maschinenpistole wie eine modifizierte MP5 oder eine Schrotflinte wie die Gallo 12 mit. In den Höhlen könnt ihr euch vor Luft-basierten Punkteserien verstecken.
Nuketown ’84
Nuketown kehrt im Post-Apokalypse-Look zurück! Am Layout hat sich allerdings gar nichts verändert. Stellt euch auf Granaten-Spam ohne Ende und schnelle Nahkämpfe auf den Straßen ein. Achtet auf Scharfschützen in den Häusern an den entgegengesetzten Enden der Karte.
Nutzt die Autos und den LKW in der Mitte als Deckungsmöglichkeit vor seitlichem Beschuss aus den Fenstern. Wenn ihr euch geschickt anstellt, könnt ihr außerdem durch den Hintergarten ins Haus schleichen und Gegner an den Fenstern leise ausschalten.

Maps in Standard- und Vereinte Waffen-Modi
Auf diesen Maps könnt ihr sowohl in den Standard-Modi als auch im neuen Verbundene Waffen-Modus zocken. Um mit dem Regelwerk des Verbundene Waffen-Modus zu harmonieren, werden diese Maps extra vergrößert, sobald ihr den Vereinte Waffen-Modus zockt. In den Standard-Modi sind sie etwas kleiner, aber grundlegend verändern tun sie sich nicht.
Armada
Die Armada Map besteht aus drei Kriegschiffen, die alle frei betretbar sind. Über die Seilrutschen gelangt ihr von einem Schiff zum anderen. Im Verbundene Waffen-Modus stehen euch außerdem Boote als Transportmittel zur Verfügung. Die meisten Kämpfe konzentrieren sich auf das Deck des großen Schiffs in der Mitte. Im Verbundene-Waffen Modus finden natürlich auch Schießereien auf den anderen Schiffen statt, da es ja mehr Spieler und mehrere Eroberungspunkte gibt, aber grundsätzlich könnt ihr euch darauf einstellen, dass es auf dem großen Schiff immer knallt.
Im Verbundene Waffen-Modus könnt ihr auch ins Wasser tauchen.
Flankieren ist auf Armada besonders wichtig und dank der Location – dem Ozean – auch gut durchführbar. Wollt ihr einen Punkt erobern, der von Gegnern besetzt ist, bietet es sich an, ins Wasser zu springen und abzutauchen. Schwimmtunter dem Schiff auf die gegenüberliegende Seite und klettert von da wieder drauf. Nun könnt ihr die Gegner von hinten überraschen.
Cartel
Cartel ist gewissermaßen eine Drei-Linien Map in ganz groß. Ihr könnt euch an den Perimetern durch die Hütten und Werkstätten bewegen, um von einem Punkt zum nächsten zu gelangen. Ihr könnt auch durch das Schlachtfeld in der Mitte gehen – bevorzugt mit Fahrzeugen, da ihr sonst schnell draufgeht. Dieses Zentrum ist ausgesprochen groß und hier wird auch größtenteils die Action abgehen.

Im Zentrum befinden sich außerdem einige Koka-Pflanzen Plantagen, wo sich oft Gegner verstecken. Werft also ruhig hin und wieder Granaten in die Büsche, um potenzielle Gegner rauszujagen oder sogar zu töten. In der Mitte steht außerdem ein Wachturm, der jedoch nur durch eine Leiter betretbar ist. Behaltet diesen Turm unbedingt im Blick und sucht euch auch immer Deckungsmöglichkeiten, damit ihr potenziellen Turmschützen nicht zum Opfer fallt.
Crossroads
Im Gegensatz zu Armada und Cartel, finden hier sehr viele Fahrzeugkämpfe statt. Vor allem Panzer kommen auf Crossroads regelmäßig zum Einsatz – nehmt also Raketenwerfer und Minen mit, wenn diese Map ausgewählt wird! Für den schnellen Transport stehen euch einige Schneemobile zur Verfügung. Grundsätzlich lässt sich sagen, dass die Panzer und Schneemobile den gesamten zentralen Bereich (also den gefrorenen See) dominieren – wenn ihr keinen Bock auf Panzerkämpfe habt, solltet ihr euch eher an den Seiten aufhalten.
Welche Maps gibt es im neuen Feuerteam-Modus?
Diese Maps gibt es nur im brandneuen Feuerteam-Modus. In diesem Modus werden zehn Vier-Spieler-Squads über der Map abgeworfen. Euer Ziel ist es, Materialien für eine schmutzige Bombe zu sammeln. Am Ende müsst ihr besagte Bombe hochjagen, um Punkte zu bekommen und das Match zu gewinnen. Teamarbeit und taktisches Vorgehen sind in diesem Modus essenziell.
Diese Karten sind deutlich größer und könnten vom Design her auch aus dem Battle Royale-Ableger Call of Duty: Warzone stammen. Aktuell gibt es zwei Maps.
Alpine
Bei weitem die größte Karte im gesamten Spiel. Sie besteht zum größten Teil aus Schneelandschaften, kleineren Baum-Ansammlungen und vielen kleineren Gebäuden wie Hütten, Hotels und Restaurants. In der Mitte befindet sich außerdem die Ein/Austeige-Station der Skipiste. Klettert, wenn möglich, auf Gebäude, um das umliegende Gebiet schnell nach Feinden abzuscannen.
Die meisten Gebäude befinden sich im Norden (links auf dieser Map).
Da Alpine ja ein Ski-Gebiet darstellt, bedeutet das, dass ihr – je nachdem wo ihr landet – den Berg entweder hoch- oder runterlaufen müsst, um zu euren Zielen zu gelangen. Grundsätzlich habt ihr einen Vorteil, wenn ihr oben startet und euch nach unten durchkämpft, da ihr so selbst in Feuergefechten im Wald einen Höhenvorteil habt. Das nördliche Gebiet hat in der Regel auch viel besseren Loot – ist dementsprechend aber auch viel härter umkämpft.
Nutzt die Schneemobile, um den Berg schnell rauf- und runterzufahren. Außerdem bietet sich die Natur prima dazu an, Gegner aus Büschen heraus aufzulauern. Allerdings solltet ihr nicht zu viel Zeit mit dem Campen verbringen – schließlich müsst ihr ja noch eine Bombe zünden!
Ruka
Da Ruka ein Trainingscamp ist, ist diese Karte deutlich kleiner und vor allem ebener als Alpine. Der nördliche Teil besteht überwiegend nur aus Natur. Dort gibt es tendenziell wenig Loot, aber dafür auch weniger Gegner. Im Zentrum befindet sich das Hauptquartier – das Gebäude mit Hammer und Sichel. Hier gibt es mitunter sehr guten Loot, aber der ist eben auch stark umkämpft.
Auf Ruka sind die Gebäude viel breitflächiger verteilt, als auf Alpine.
Ruka ist eine recht offene Karte, weshalb ihr auch hier mit vielen Luft-basierten Punkteserien zu tun haben werdet. Nehmt also Raketenwerfer mit und rüstet selbst Punkteserien für den Luftkampf aus.

The Einhorn Revolving shotgun is the undisputed best weapon in Vanguard Zombies. Most of the shotguns seem pretty powerful in Der Anfang, but a fully Pack-a-Punched Einhorn Revolving can one hit kill zombies even in high rounds. It also has the highest fire rate of all the shotguns in Vanguard.
