My wife and I had a great week in the apartment, a stones throw from Fistral beach. Great placement for beach and town. Good facilities and very comfortable. The allocated secure parking is a massive bonus. Thanks you Linda for all your efforts. Highly recommend!

Great location just a short stroll to the beach and walking distance into the main town of Newquay. Apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Lovely view of the sunset from the roof terrace. Would recommend

Stayed July 2022 Very lovely place, so clean and plenty of room! It’s so close to Fristral beach and close to the town too, loved it. Would definitely go back!

We loved everything about this property, cleanliness, location, everything we needed in the property, we even had a welcome pack of jam, cream, scones, milk tea we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

This lovely apartment is close to Fistral beach. Great for a couple, there is underground parking and lift to apartment. There are adequate facilities. Very clean and comfortable. Easy walk into town, around 20 minutes. Communication with owners was quick and efficient, they answered all our questions. The flat has a balcony but not overlooking the sea which is a shame but not an issue as you should just get out and about in the area and appreciate the amazing walks and area. New Year was great, a fantastic firework display in the harbour. Waves to watch forever. Surfers and swimmers enjoying life. I would recommend this property.

We stayed here in September 2021 and the old derelict hotel had been pulled down so building work was in progress, however this did not detract from the very comfortable apartment Linda had provided, It had everything you needed and was very clean on arrival. Linda provided very good communication throughout our stay. Only two mins from the beach, what more could you ask for!!!

Linda is a brilliant host, and her apartment is very well provisioned, appointed and positioned. If you want a place near Fistral Beach and only a 10 minute walk into the main town of Newquay then this is a good choice!

A really special place to stay. We went for a week and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning and also made great use of the roof garden to enjoy the incredible Fistral sunsets. There was everything and more we could of asked upon arrival. Linda was a wonderful host, could not recommend this apartment more!

great flat for staying near to Fistral Beach, we loved being able to walk down with wetsuits and boards in 5 mins. The flat is spacious and comfortable and we felt at home for the 5 nights we had there

Stayed here September 2020 and had a lovely time, the apartment is nice and cosy and very clean on arrival, couldn’t fault it! I have rated 4 star only because no view but the balcony is South facing so we had sun all day, the views did not!!! If you want a view walk to the roof terrace above, its beautiful Instructions were good, Parking brilliant and a Tap in basement to wash our wetsuits – beach only 2 minutes, will recommend to others

We have just returned from a great stay at 9 Ocean Gate Apartments. I’m originally from Cornwall & my sister lives in Newquay so this was a perfect base for myself & my 5 & 14 year old. The apartment was lovely, clean, modern with everything we needed. Excellent position at South Fistral & underground parking with a wetsuit cleaning station was an added bonus. Will definitely re-book again.

Booked a short break in February and loved the apartment. on arrival we had a good look round and found the place very clean and modern. To our surprise the bed was a SuperKing 6ft bed and was so comfy.
The bedding was lovely and the towels left were great add ons!
We would definitely recommend a break at this place, next to the beach what more could you ask for

Stayed her November 2018 for the surfing on Fistral Beach. Location was fantastic right next to the beach, pretty comfy and had everything you needed and the booking process couldnt be easier.
Access was easy and parking in the basement meant we could leave our surfboards.

This apartment was lovely, clean and modern. It’s in a great location 10 minute walk from Newquay town and a 5 minute walk from Fistral beach with amazing views on your doorstep. Very easy to check in and you are left plenty of useful information. I would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at ocean gate.We were really impressed with the location and proximity to fistrel and lots of bars and restaurants/cafes within walking distance.we spent a few nights drinking cocktails at the nearby hotel watching the sunset!!. We come to Newquay every year although we have always camped in the past so for us this was a real luxury! First impression the sofa bed didn’t look to comfortable but our 15 year old slept on it all week with no complaints also being 15 wifi is important and worked fine,The apartment was well equipped with everything you need and was lovely and clean when we arrived also the carpark saved us a fortune on parking charges.Would love to come back next summer X

We wanted to get away for a weekend, to stay somewhere with a little style, take time to enjoy the beautiful scenic beaches and relax.
This apartment really forfilled this, bringing a feel of modern elegance, and well placed with a miriade of beautiful coastal footpaths and beaches on the doorstep.

What a fantastic apartment – all mod cons, and really well appointed.??The location could not be better – a stones throw from Fistral Beach – would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Newquay, and we would definitely book it again.??Hopefully next time, the sun will be shining a bit more, but even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits 🙂
